Hero Video on Homepage of Nabuki Creations.

My initial thought process was to imagine what I wanted visitors to experience the moment they entered Nabuki Creations.

The website is designed to resemble a luxury resort—not in the traditional sense, but as my own "Creative Resort." Every element reflects my portfolio, my personality, and the creative journey I want guests to experience. To help shape this vision, I spent time researching luxury resort websites and studying how they welcome visitors.

Rather than simply landing on a homepage, I wanted guests to feel as though they were opening the grand entrance to a resort. As the doors slowly open, they're greeted by an impressive atrium designed to serve as a grand central hub of the resort—a beautiful communal space that invites exploration, curiosity, and inspiration.

As You Enter

The first thing visitors see is a beautiful oceanside village mural spanning the walls and entrance doors. This artwork symbolizes the Creative Resort itself—a vast destination nestled along the coastline, full of places to discover and experiences waiting around every corner.

The Doors Open

As the doors begin to open, light pours into the space, creating an almost magical transition. The grand atrium is revealed, and two white unicorns come into view.

Whenever I create artwork for my own brand, I like to include meaningful symbolism. For this animation, I wanted movement—not just from people, but from something that represented me on a deeper level. Throughout the website you'll notice that I've incorporated several of my favorite animals into the graphics, each carrying its own significance.

According to the Chinese Zodiac, I was born in the Year of the Horse, and I've always been drawn to the mythical beauty of unicorns. Unicorns are legendary horse-like creatures known for their rarity, uniqueness, and magical qualities. In many ways, I've always felt my personality, interests, and way of thinking lean a little outside the ordinary, so the unicorn became a natural representation of myself.

The animation originally featured only one unicorn, but it quickly felt lonely. So, I introduced a second. Sometimes the best creative decisions happen unexpectedly—and in this case, two felt far more balanced than one.

Exploring the Resort

In my imagination, the atrium is a place where guests can slow down and take everything in. High vaulted ceilings, contemporary architecture, lush greenery, and warm natural light create an inviting atmosphere.

This central hub is where visitors discover many of the resort's amenities, including:

Coffee Shop

Mini Market

Restaurants

Souvenir Shop

Book Boutique

Business Center

Spa Services

Just like a real resort, each destination represents another part of the Nabuki Creations' Resort waiting to be explored. (More updates to come)

Following the Unicorns

The camera slowly follows the unicorns as they gracefully make their way toward the grand staircase. Together they ascend to the second-floor open-air terrace, where a breathtaking ocean view stretches into the horizon.

This moment symbolizes moving upward—not just physically, but creatively and spiritually.

Why Two White Unicorns?

The two unicorns carry several layers of personal meaning.

First, they're a subtle nod to my zodiac sign. I was born on June 15, making me a Gemini—a sign often associated with duality, balance, and two complementary energies.

They also represent my life partner. We walk through life together, supporting one another while sharing the same journey toward the future.

Beyond their personal significance, white unicorns have long symbolized qualities that resonate with me and the values behind Nabuki Creations:

Purity of heart

Integrity

Truth and authenticity

Spiritual innocence

Balance and harmony

The union of intuition and logic

Soulmates and meaningful partnerships

Divine guidance

Dreams becoming reality

Magic and possibility

Protection from negativity

New beginnings

To me, the image of two white unicorns walking together toward the ocean represents a journey of creativity, hope, growth, and endless possibilities.

Creating the Animation

The animation began with AI-generated imagery.

After experimenting with numerous prompts and renderings, I selected several images that best matched the vision I had in mind. I then refined them through Photoshop, making additional edits until they felt cohesive and aligned with the Nabuiki Creations' Resort concept.

Next, I imported the artwork into an AI animation platform to generate movement. While the results were impressive, I wasn't able to achieve the entire sequence as one continuous scene. Instead, I created multiple short animations from different renderings.

Finally, I assembled those individual clips in my video editing software, carefully stitching them together into one seamless experience. Through pacing, transitions, and additional editing, I was able to bring the original vision to life.

Interestingly, this wasn't the first version of the animation. The original opening sequence was much shorter and revealed a completely different room scene once the doors opened. Although it worked technically, it never felt immersive enough. I knew the experience needed to feel grander, more magical, and more inviting.

The final version became much closer to what I had envisioned from the beginning—an entrance that doesn't simply introduce a website, but welcomes visitors into a creative world built from imagination, symbolism, and thoughtful design.

This may change again In the future as I evolve but for now, I'm happy with what It represents. - Nabuki
